iPhone and iPad: iOS/iPadOS 18.0 or later. For iPhone, devices able to install iOS 18 start at iPhone XR/XS/XS Max or iPhone SE (2nd generation).
Mac: macOS 15.0 or later.
Apple Watch: watchOS 11.0 or later for the companion app.
Android: Android 8.0 (API 26) or later and a 64-bit ARM processor (arm64-v8a), when the Android version is published. The current release build does not support 32-bit Android devices.

Qur'an reading and basic worship tools do not require an AI model download.

On-device AI models

Tartil, Wamdah, and Mizan AI are Premium features. A model must be published for your app version, downloaded, and installed with enough free storage. Recitation analysis requires microphone access and runs on the device. Without a compatible model, memorization remains available for self-marked review without an AI assessment claim.

Apple: Core ML models use device acceleration. The OS floor above is an app installation floor, not a promise of AI performance on every device. Documented physical testing used an iPhone 16 Pro Max; a minimum iPhone/iPad/Mac model for the full AI suite has not been established. Do not purchase a device based on the OS floor alone.
Android: beyond Android 8.0 and arm64-v8a, the current Tartil build requires ARMv8.2 dot-product and FP16 CPU instructions. Physical Android speed, memory, and thermal validation is still in progress. AI download availability will be limited until compatibility is verified.

AI memory and storage

Apple: the three installed model files total about 1.1 GB. Have at least 3 GB free before downloading all of them to allow for temporary archives and model compilation. A combined Tartil and Mizan run reached about 1.8 GB process memory in an Apple silicon Mac test; this is not a validated minimum iPhone RAM requirement.
Android: model files total about 0.7 GB. Have at least 2 GB free before downloading all of them. ARM64 emulator measurements reached about 646 MB PSS for Tartil and about 393 MB peak PSS growth in a combined session; these are not physical-device minimum RAM thresholds.

No minimum RAM figure has yet been proven for the full AI suite on iPhone or Android. A device with the free space above may still hit memory or thermal limits. We will set a RAM cutoff after physical testing across device classes. Pack sizes shown by the app at release may change with model versions.

A system alarm that can override Silent and Focus requires iOS 26 or later and Alarm permission. On iOS 18–25, ordinary reminders follow your device notification settings.
